Reservations Right or Wrong?????????

In the recent times the word RESERVATIONS have come under great debates…………………..But do people really understand the meaning of reservation and why is it necessary to be implied???????? Definitely the people against it are well educated and well informed, but they may be not taking the wholistic perspective when in this case……..Lets try to understand the importance if reservations in today’s world
India being a land of villages, also a land of various customs and traditions………. Right from the time, before the British ruled us, the CASTE SYSTEM has played a dominant role in our country. This system classifies people according to their profession. And then onwards, the term High and Low class came into picture. Today after more than 50 years of independence the effects of this caste system can be still seen.
And today if the government wants to do something for them to bring all the people at equal status……. One cannot disagree.

Right
When seen from the perspective of the backward caste that has been almost sidelined for none of their fault …… reservations are pretty much valid. Also the financial conditions of their families being bad they just live hand to mouth. No wonder most of them are illiterate, but today in the 21st century it is not possible to just live hand to mouth. Education today is one of the most important factors for the country’s progress. If we want our country to progress, we have to at least educate our population. Sometime or other there has to be a beginning so why not implement the reservations now when we are on the path of progress .By implementing it now, we can at least hope that one day will come when majority of the people will be educated and therefore we can remove reservations that time….. but that is still a long way ahead. The idea is simple, the backward class people after all do have their rights to education, right to work n so on…… like everyone……. So why deny them of their education

Wrong
The effects of reservations on the open class or category are tremendous when professional courses come into consideration. As for those courses, there are only a few limited seats and if there are reservations in those limited seats it would very hard to secure a seat. But the main point is that why the government cant introduce policies by which all the people Backward or open receive Quality primary education? If this is done there will be no need for reservations at professional courses level. Definitely injustice has been done to the open category students as they have to slog n work hard to get a seat whereas the backward category students get the seat easily compared to the open category. Not only in India but also in the world people are of the opinion this reservations will lead to a degradation of the quality of the pass-outs after the professional courses.

From the above views we come to a conclusion that both the aspects are neither correct nor wrong. Both have valid points which have to be taken into account before any decisions are made. Reservation with increased number of seats for general category may be a good idea serving to both the needs. We just hope our government takes a right decision and also that it should not hamper the progress our country. Also only if both the sects prosper the country will progress

Conclusion
A person who has hard worked for his/her goal definitely achieves it whether there is reservation or no reservation or in order words A Person destined to become something , becomes it .. no reservation or nothing can stop him/her.
